Scott Reid is the Member of Parliament for Lanark-Frontenac. He was first elected in November 2000.

Scott was elected chairman of the Conservative parliamentary caucus in November, 2021. He previously served as the Shadow Minister (or opposition critic) for Democratic Institutions (2015-2018), Deputy Opposition House Leader (2015-2016), and Deputy Government House Leader (2006-2015).

He also served as the chairman of the subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (2008-2015).

CA MP Scott Reid to Take Part in Rural Expo 2003

Ottawa – Scott Reid, MP for Lanark-Carleton, and Canadian Alliance Critic for Intergovernmental Affairs, is pleased to announce that he will be taking part in the parade and opening ceremonies of Rural Expo 2003 in Carleton Place, ON, tomorrow September 17.

As the MP for Lanark-Carleton, Mr. Reid will be joined by Canadian Alliance Deputy Leader Carol Skelton, Canadian Alliance Deputy Agriculture Critic Howard Hilstrom, Canadian Alliance Critic for Firearms and Property Rights Garry Breitkreuz, and Canadian Alliance Deputy Transport Critic Lynne Yelich.

Mr. Reid and his Canadian Alliance colleagues will be on site in Carleton Place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm tomorrow.
