Welcome to my brand-new blog!

May 10, 2015

I’ve been blogging—on and off—on Twitter for a few years now. Twitter itself has the obvious disadvantage of drastic restrictions on the number of characters that you’re allowed to use, and I don’t very often have a thought that is simultaneously short enough to meet with Twitter’s restrictions, and profound enough to bother sharing. But a friend showed me how to use a service called “Twitlonger.” Read my Twitter feed and you’ll be led from Twitter.com to Twitlonger.com. Thanks to this discovery, I’ve written a few much-longer-than-140-character ruminations on various subjects—in other words, some de facto blog posts.

Still, it will be nice to have the real thing. Now I can make links (what’s a blog post without links?!?!) and add photos. I’m looking forward to it!
